November 23rd and 24th – 2024, will be the date for the 4th Congress on Roman Mining and Speleology in Valongo and the 2nd International Congress on Roman Mining of Valongo. An event to a general audience with the objective of getting to know of the biggest heritage values that our territory has: the Roman Mining! A legacy of about 20 centuries that has shaped our way of living and represents a significant part of what we are as a culture.

Again, this congress will be international with speakers and researchers, in this field, from countries such as France, Spain, and Portugal! An outstanding event that connects the general audience to the specialists in a congress that is already an international reference in the theme.

The conference will have simultaneous translation, field visits, tutorials, debates, technical sessions and many surprises!
